According to the National Environment Agency, the traffic of light vehicles has been restored on the Gudauri -Kobi section.

“As a result of the cleaning works, light vehicle traffic has been restored on the Gudauri (Post)-Kobi section of the internationally important Mtskheta-Stephantsminda-Larsi highway, and traffic with trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited due to ice,” the statement said.

According to them, traffic on the Mleta-Gudauri and Gudauri (post)-Kobi sections will be carried out without stopping, on the Gudauri (post)-Kobi section only through the avalanche protection tunnels.

“Moving in the mentioned mode will be carried out under the direct supervision and coordination of the patrol police,” the statement reads.
